Pure Person Press is proud to release DJ Point aka Point Hsu’s Mashup Experiment Volume 1. Only on this album will you find a Taiwanese pop classic like Stanley Huang’s "End of the Night" mixed with a track from experimental German artist Alva Noto.

Originally released in 2014, this album was created during a personal period Point calls “the darkness before the light." The music mirrors this feeling of restless and searching energy. Even though many of these songs feature dance music, the songs are intimate, with lovely pianos, ambient highs, and bass heavy lows. This album is more suited to a solo night drive than the club.

Point has a foundation of spirituality in his music and his true genius lies in connecting separate worlds together. With his ear for emotion, the East and West collide and coexist playfully in his album “Mashup Remix Vol 1.”
